Times Colonist - AlarmForce CEO's home saved by security system
While he won't call it a PR coup, the CEO of a company that makes home alarm systems managed to score one recently when his own product thwarted an attempted burglary on his Toronto home.
Joel Matlin, CEO of AlarmForce Industries Inc., was in Florida on Feb. 4 when at about 11 p.m., he received an image in an email on his smartphone, via his company's security system, of a man he did not recognize at the front door of his home.
