Baby Stroller Bandit Caught On Camera
Description
On November 8, 2011 at 12:19 am, a burglar was filmed stealing tandem baby stroller from a home in Toronto, Ontario. The home owner was sent an email with three pictures of the burglar. Unfortunately the home owner was asleep, otherwise he could have triggered the live two-way voice communication through the VideoRelay unit. The entire burglary was filmed (video and audio) through the VideoRelay unit. Upon discovering that the stroller was stolen, the home owner downloaded the video of the burglar and sent that, along with the still images to the Toronto Police Department, who then sent out the video/pictures on their Twitter feed and Facebook pages. The Police are currently searching for the burglar. The video of the burglar can be seen here:

A VideoRelay customer was alarmed by a suspicious "door to door salesperson" coming to her house at 9:15 pm. Her husband was out of town and the situation didn't feel safe. She answered her down through her VideoRelay system (was able to see and speak with the person through her cellular phone) letting them know she was home and not interested. Once they left, she downloaded the recording of the event (full video and audio) and sent it to the police, who patrolled the area for any suspicious persons.
